Job description

Annual salary: up to £31,060.00

Multi Skilled Operative

Eastbourne/Lewes

Full Time, Permanent 42.5 Hours per week

£31,060.00 + Company Van and Fuel Card

This contract provides a 24-hour emergency repair service. This post offers the opportunity to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, which can potentially boost earnings by approximately £10k per annum, based on one week out of a four-week rota. Participation is optional and not mandatory.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our repairs and maintenance team in Eastbourne/Lewes. Working with home first on a variety of residential works, working in occupied, void properties and communal areas, our team produce work to the highest standards and deliver outstanding customer service.

As a multi-skilled operative carrying a broad range of property repairs, the role typically involves a variety of tasks extending from changing a lock, right up to extensive kitchen and bathroom alterations.

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
