Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Injection Moulding

A leading global beverage manufacturer is looking to recruit Multi-Skilled Engineers with experience in injection moulding, working at their site in West Yorkshire. If you are multi-skilled, either mechanically or electrically biased, and have a strong background in injection moulding processes, this is your opportunity to work at one of the largest soft drinks production facilities in Europe.

In this role, you will be working on a 3 on and 3 off shift pattern, alternating between nights and days.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on injection moulding machines and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults related to hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems within the moulding process.
  • Assist in developing maintenance plans and strategies with your Reliability Engineer to optimise machine performance and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure clear communication with your Team Leader and Management team regarding safety, quality, and reliability issues.
  • Use SAP (CCMS) to sign off work tasks and order parts and materials for the lines.

Requirements: To apply for this role, you’ll need to be a Multi-Skilled Engineer and must be either apprenticeship qualified or hold an engineering-based NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

You will also have:
  • Strong experience within a manufacturing environment, specifically in injection moulding.
  • Proven diagnostic, problem-solving, and maintenance skills related to injection moulding machines.
  • A mind-set for continuous improvement, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and reliability within the moulding process.
