Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Days - Coleraine - Competitive Salary (DoE)

Your New Role

Whilst working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer your primary role is to ensure production downtime is kept to a minimum. Your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Maintain and service all equipment in area of responsibility
  2. Assist in maintenance in areas out of personal remit
  3. Maintain production machinery to ensure operations are running efficiently and effectively through periodic maintenance checks
  4. Ensure breakdowns are attended immediately and that machinery is repaired effectively to allow production to continue
  5. Minimise breakdowns through preventative maintenance and control procedures
  6. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment
  7. Fault diagnosis and monitoring the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out.

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  1. A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience within a manufacturing environment
  2. Experience in the repair of tying machines and vac pac machines
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills
  4. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  5. Well-organised, multitasker with good time management skills.

What You'll Get In Return

Standard hours within this role are based on a 40-hour week, running Monday - Friday. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential as some occasional weekend cover will need to be provided at peak production times. The salary for the role is largely dependent on experience but can offer a competitive salary (DoE).
