Multi- Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer with experience in FMCG or the food industry? You will play a pivotal role in the engineering team to ensure that breakdowns are swiftly rectified and PPM work is done to schedule.

As part of the maintenance team, your day-to-day will involve utilising electrical skills and knowledge to minimise downtime supporting the production team.

The role as a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias:

• Day to Day maintenance of the production machinery.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and all associated system activity.
• Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes and spare parts used.
• Make food safety a priority while maintaining the machinery.
• Continuous Improvement activities as directed.

• An electrical Engineering qualification, and a time served Apprenticeship with an electrical bias.
• Experience of working with manufacturing machinery.
• Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
• Be able to work as part of a larger engineering team.
• Have a collaborative approach.

• 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern
• 7am 7pm
• Basic salary of £47,000 over time available
