The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, working on paint filling machinery and other essential equipment. You will work shifts on a weekly rotation:

Week 1: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2 PM
Week 2: Monday - Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM

About You (Essential Requirements)

Time-served in a mechanical or electrical discipline
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role within manufacturing
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous improvement
Must be able to commute to Birstall daily

Nice to Haves (Desirable Skills & Experience)

Experience in Preventative Maintenance procedures
Knowledge of PLC/computer-controlled equipment
Knowledge and experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Confined space trained and certified (Training provided)
IPAF/FLT trained and certified (Training provided)
Experience with mechanical fitting, plumbing, pipe work, and welding
Strong communication skills at all levels
Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Conscientious, reliable, and proactive attitude
Good numerical and verbal reasoning skills
