Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Telford

Salary: Basic earnings of £49,400 + Overtime @ 1.5x pay after 42 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (rotating days & nights)

Are you a skilled, hands-on engineer who thrives on solving technical challenges independently?

We're proud to represent one of the UK's largest confectionery manufacturers, seeking skilled engineers to join their world-class manufacturing environment-featuring bespoke, in-house designed and built machinery.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A flexible and proactive problem solver - thrives under pressure and works well within a team.
  • A mechanically skilled, time-served technician - with a systems and control focus.
  • Strong electrical control knowledge - including the ability to read Electrical Control Wiring Diagrams.
  • A continuous learner - eager to embrace new technologies, ideally with PLC programming & fault diagnosis experience.
  • Industry experience - food or processing industry background is a plus but not essential.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Providing technical leadership - working closely with operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Responding to breakdowns & changeovers - ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supporting continuous improvement & new product development - working alongside lead development engineers.
  • Taking ownership - managing workload efficiently, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with internal teams & contractors.
