Description

1. Implementing routine maintenance procedures and ensuring all machinery is up to standard.
2. Quickly diagnosing and repairing any mechanical faults or malfunctions in machinery.
3. Advising on potential improvements to increase operational efficiency.
4. Provide on-site support for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and control systems issues.
5. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
6. Collaborating with the Production team to solve complex issues.
7. Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
8. Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
9. Provide training and guidance to apprentices.
10. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in engineering and manufacturing processes in the FMCG industry.

Profile

1. A formal qualification in Engineering or a related field - ideally apprentice trained.
2. Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry/Manufacturing.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the engineering and manufacturing industry.
5. A proactive attitude towards maintaining and improving machinery efficiency.
6. Driving license (occasionally travel to other local sites).

Job Offer

1. 40 hour week, over 4 days.
2. Early finish on a Friday.
3. Salary of up to £40,000.
