MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Location: HALIFAX

Shift: 3 SHIFT

Salary: UP TO £46,000

We are looking for a motivated maintenance engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company in the UK. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.

Role Description:

  1. Participate in the construction, installation, and commissioning of approved plant modifications and projects and overhaul equipment to manufacturer's/site standards to provide cost effective maintenance on site.
  2. Work in a dirty and dusty environment.
  3. Operate bespoke coating, cutting & gluing machines.
  4. Perform PLC Fault Finding.
  5. Maintain conveyors, motors, sensors, relays, belts, and chains.

Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Level 3 qualification in Engineering.
  2. Manufacturing experience.
  3. 17th/18th Edition - advantageous.
  4. Must be apprentice trained.
