We're recruiting for a maintenance engineer to join an awesome, forward-thinking, growing FMCG business. This site has seen significant investment consistently over the past few years, and this is something they're definitely looking to continue. The site is fantastic with people to match. You'll be helping keep this site in top shape, and with the variety of equipment, you'll never have two days be the same.

You'll be responsible for implementing day-to-day maintenance tasks, reporting on equipment, and the occasional bit of reactive work. A must for the right person is to be willing to work within a team and also capable of working independently. As mentioned above, every day will be different as you cover all manner of work across a large site.

As part of the engineering team, your job accountabilities would include:

  1. Work Orders
  2. Reactive Maintenance
  3. Operate and maintain the maintenance system
  4. Ensure all work carried out meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Hygiene, Health, and Environment policies and procedures.
  5. Receive and complete all relevant handover documentation and communication from the previous and to the next shift
  6. Attend training courses as required
  7. Demonstrate involvement in continuous improvement

Ideally, you'll come from a similar manufacturing environment where the rules and regulations to follow are similar so you can hit the ground running. If not, the most important thing is that you have a background in maintenance work and the positive mindset needed to get stuck in.
