Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client.

This client is a fast-paced Production facility.

The Person:

1. Electrical Engineering Qualification.
2. Able to understand engineering drawings.
3. Experience working as part of an engineering team.
4. Experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters.
5. Fault finding skills.
6. Logical problem solving.
7. Knowledge of Programming PLCs.

The Role:

1. Reactive maintenance - Reacting to breakdowns to ensure production is back running as quickly and safely as possible.
2. Attend breakdowns promptly and make repairs to the best quality.
3. Complete regular machine maintenance programmes to reduce packing downtime and complete relevant paperwork.
4. PLC fault finding would be an advantage but not essential.
5. Project Work (CI / Installation / New Machinery commissioning).
6. Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.
7. Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.
8. Manage Health and Safety: Ensure all engineering work carried out in the value stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.

This role is working a 4on 4off shift pattern - Days Only.

The salary will be between £40,000pa - £42,000pa - Dependent on experience.
