Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

This client is a fast-paced Production facility, experiencing substantial growth.

The Person:

1. Worked as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Multiskilled Engineer
2. NVQ Level 3 trained
3. Trustworthy, Motivated, Problem Solver
4. Experienced in a manufacturing environment
5. Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills
6. Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office family of products
7. Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software.

The Role:

1. Reactive maintenance - Reacting to breakdowns to ensure production is back running as quickly and safely as possible.
2. Attend breakdowns promptly and make repairs to the best quality
3. Complete regular machine maintenance programmes to reduce packing downtime and complete relevant paperwork.
4. PLC fault finding would be an advantage but not essential
5. Project Work (CI / Installation / New Machinery commissioning.)
6. Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.
7. Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.
8. Manage Health and Safety: Ensure all engineering work carried out in the value stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.

Monday to Friday - Day shifts - 08:00 am - 17:00 pm

You would be required to be on call for 1 week in every 4 weeks which you would be paid an on-call allowance & Overtime.

The basic salary will be £35,000 pa.

This role includes a company car.
