Multi Skilled Labourer

Barnsley Recruitment Services are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Multi Skilled Labourer to join our client's busy team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, contributing to various projects across our operations. This role is essential in ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, making it a vital part of our workforce.

Responsibilities

1. Perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
2. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
3. Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of equipment and structures.
4. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
5. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
6. Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Skills

1. Valid CSCS card, CIS registered and UTR number.
2. Proven experience in a Multi skilled labour role or similar position is essential.
3. Experience in roofing, plastering, brickwork, rendering, tiling.
4. Ability to operate various hand tools and machinery safely.
5. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads regularly.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
7. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
8. A valid driver's licence is essential.
