Multi Skilled Joiner

Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our team, based in Sedgefield and surrounding areas. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,985.75 per annum plus the opportunity to earn OTE, company van & fuel card, plus excellent benefits!

Responsibilities for this Multi Skilled Joiner role are:

1. Remove or relay or lay new, flag work
2. Undertake small scale groundwork
3. Repair/renew/fit roofing trusses for traditional, hips and valleys and repair/renew/fit soffit fascia and barge boards
4. Repair/renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring
5. Repair/renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panelling
6. Repair/renew kitchen units, work tops and decorative finishes
7. Repair/replace/fit ironmongery to doors and windows
8. Repair/renew timber and UPVC window frames
9. Reglaze timber fencing and gates
10. Multi trade - skilled Joiner and capable of complete works in other construction trades including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling and minor ground work activities

What we are looking for in our ideal Multi Skilled Joiner:

Must have served a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3). Experience of working as a Multi Skilled Joiner. Competent in all aspects of the Joiner trade discipline. Plastering trade discipline (desirable). Ability to carry out multi skill trades, and core Joinery or Groundwork and experience working within a social housing environment. A current driving licence is essential. Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and their own tools.
