Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Mobile across covering Manchester and North West

  • Salary: £38,000–£40,000 + Overtime
  • Personal use of company van.
  • Flexibility to adapt working hours 8am – 5am

Role Overview:
Join our team as a Maintenance Electrician, responsible for managing your own workload across multiple sites. This flexible, mobile role involves planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive tasks, with a focus on electrical systems (70%) and general fabric maintenance (30%).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct PPMs, including emergency lighting tests, fire alarm checks, water temperature testing, and tap flushing.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial lighting systems and power circuits.
  • Replace sockets, switches, and other electrical components as needed.
  • Perform AHU (Air Handling Unit) filter cleans and basic servicing.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in building systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate records.
  • Address minor fabric maintenance tasks such as door adjustments, patch repairs, and general upkeep.
  • Support energy efficiency by monitoring and maintaining electrical systems.
