Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) - FMCG - Redditch - £42,500

Are you a skilled engineer with a mechanical bias looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced FMCG environment? Our client, a well-established FMCG company based in Redditch, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team.

Role Details:

1. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (6-2, 2-10)
2. Salary: £42,500 per annum
3. Location: Redditch

Key Requirements:

1. Mechanically biased apprenticeship with some electrical experience
2. Previous experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable
3. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
3. Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime
4. Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
5. Assist with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects
