National role with occasional working away BUT is Door to Door Travel.
Description of the Multi Skilled Technician position:
General building maintenance
Installation of new timber doors and frames
Maintenance of fire doors
Door repairs
Installation of ironmongery, digit locks, mortice locks
The building of partition walls
Toilet and kitchen refurbs
Fire stopping works
Minor plumbing work
Must haves for our successful Multi Skilled Technician:
Proven experience within a similar role
Have a clean valid UK driver's license
Be highly motivated and keen to always work to the highest standard, regardless of working environments
Have good communication skills, both oral and written
Be available to work away, as there is a requirement to work away from home sometimes to complete required works
IPAF/PASMA - Although training can be provided
Responsibilities and Duties:
Must be punctual and have excellent timekeeping skills
Can work alone as well as within a team in line with daily requirements
To effectively report on the progress of works, verbally and via electronic means
To attend to a wide variety of reactive calls
Be an excellent communicator with a high level of customer service, along with the ability to build a rapport with customers, whilst representing the company to the best of your ability
Attend scheduled training courses when necessary to ensure all skills and qualifications are up to date and to maintain H&S requirements and safe working practices
Submit required information on a PDA in both an accurate and timely manner
Benefits and Package:
37.5 Hours per week guaranteed
Normal working core hours are Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (30 Mins Lunch unpaid)
Overtime as available (Daily hours in excess of 7.5 paid at time and a half)
