Job description

What You Will Do:
  1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance of Plant and Equipment.
  2. Ensure the Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the current schedule and effective and efficient corrective action is taken.
  3. Provide quick and effective response to breakdowns, identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to Management and work with operations to minimise plant disruption.
  5. Follow good engineering standards and hygiene practice across the site, ensuring all activities are compliant with health and safety guidelines.
  6. Participate in Mechanical and Electrical projects and installations, ensuring efficient operations and environmental compliance.
What You Will Bring:
  1. Time served Multi-skilled Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
  2. Proactive and dynamic approach to safety with good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.
  4. Flexibility with a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
  5. Experience in food manufacture, IEE 17th or 18th Edition, PLC, Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience are desirable.
