Job Title: Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer
Location: Bridlington

Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Hire
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (Must be flexible, with availability some weekends)

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a well-established and successful food manufacturing company in Bridlington. Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform both reactive and planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery and equipment within the factory.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
3. Ensure all machinery is maintained to meet production targets and high-quality standards.
4. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
5. Contribute to continuous improvement processes and maintenance schedules.

Essential Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer within a manufacturing environment (preferably food manufacturing).
2. Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to adapt to flexible shifts, including the possibility of weekend work when required.

Desirable:

1. Experience with food manufacturing machinery or similar environments.
2. Previous experience with PLCs, automation, and control systems.
