MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL BIAS

We are looking for a motivated multi-skilled engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company within their respective field. Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • Troubleshoot and repair all factory equipment
  • Identify the root causes of problems
  • Ensure that all breakdowns are recorded
  • Carry out preventative maintenance work as required
  • Maintain systems in place for spare parts stock
  • Dismantle, adjust, modify, improve, and assemble factory equipment
  • Work with Maintenance Supervisor to address causes of downtime

Skills and Qualifications

  • Electrical biased apprenticeship or equivalent qualification - Level 3
  • Fault finding on PLCs - Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi
  • Good knowledge of servo motors
