Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our client team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials to customers on-site. You will be operating a van that may be loaded to the maximum weight of 1.1 tons, although this weight will typically be split across multiple deliveries (10-15 a day). This is a hands-on role that requires careful attention to safety and time management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and deliver materials to various customer sites.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain the van in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 3 penalty points.
• Experience driving vans (3.5tonne) is preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

Shift Pattern:

• 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour break during the day.
• Overtime opportunities are available and paid at the standard rate.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay at the minimum wage rate.
• Eligibility for a share of the branch’s performance-based bonus.
