Job Title: Multi Drop Van Driver
Location: Leeds LS11 0LR
Hours per week: 48 - Monday to Saturday (6 days per week)
Salary: £34,045.44

We are currently hiring for the position of Multi Drop Van Driver to join our dynamic team based at our Leeds site. As a crucial member of our Fleet and Transport Team, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely completing upwards of 50 drops + per day using a 3.5-tonne Long Wheel Based van.

Mandatory Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence
• No more than 3 live points on your driving licence
• Capable of bending and lifting in line with our Health and Safety regulations
• One year's commercial driving experience within the last three years
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Ability to lift tote bins with a weight up to 25kgs.
• Minimum of 1 years multi drop delivery driving experience with the last 5 years

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a LWB 3.5-tonne van to complete assigned daily pharmaceutical deliveries.
• Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries made, and any other relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team to relay updates or address any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
• Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure your van is in a roadworthy condition.
• Carry out upwards of 50 high volume deliveries per day.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or similar role with 1-2 yrs experience with the last 5 years.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws and knowledge of assigned delivery areas/routes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to delivery schedules.
