Job Title: MRO Technician

Location: Wolverhampton

Contract Type: Permanent & Contract

The Role - MRO Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical biased Technician to join a prominent aerospace engineering business in the Wolverhampton area.

This position is highly suitable for recent Service leavers from the Navy, RAF or Army who have experience working on complex military assets or aircraft (Rotary or fixed wing).

You will be building and repairing a mix of complex mechanical systems that could see you working in both the MRO repair section or in the new product build area.

Duties - MRO Technician
  1. Fault finding and repair of complex hydraulic aviation systems.
  2. Assembling of complex hydraulic products.
  3. Reading engineering drawings.
  4. Completing Quality Audits.
  5. Building new complex hydraulic products.
  6. Using measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier Callipers and Height Gauges to inspect component parts.
Background - MRO Technician
  1. Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience within a complex MRO/Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
  3. Competent at reading and following different set procedures.
  4. Competency with a range of assembly tools.
  5. Hydraulic Testing Experience.
