Job description

Are you an experienced Estate/Property Manager looking for the next step in your career, giving you the opportunity to work client-side?

Due to continued growth within my client’s company portfolio, they are now looking to recruit a General Practice Surveyor who has a previous background in Estate Property Management.

Working closely with the company’s director, this is an integral role for the firm where you will be responsible for a wide variety of commercial management duties within a mixed commercial portfolio based in the North West.

Typical responsibilities will include:
  1. Rent reviews and lease renewals
  2. Lease interpretation
  3. Attending viewings
  4. Negotiation
  5. Lease restructuring
  6. Invoice Management
  7. Aspects of facilities management
  8. Preparing reports
  9. Dilapidations
  10. Tenant liaison
  11. Liaising with local authorities/utilities regarding business rates, vacant units, etc.
  12. Conduct scheduled inspections of leased properties
  13. Document Management
  14. General property management issues that may arise within the portfolio
To be considered for this role you will:
  1. Be MRICS qualified
  2. Have a proven track record within commercial property management
  3. Be an excellent communicator and confident negotiator
  4. Be self-motivated and highly organised, with a “can-do” approach
  5. Hold a UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle

In return, my client can offer an excellent package including a negotiable basic (c£40,000 -£45,000 DOE) plus bonus.
