Up to £25.00 per hour

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Radiographer, you will:

  • Be proficient with Siemens MRI scanners
  • Ensure strict patient and staff safety within the MRI environment
  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
  • Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
About us

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is recognised for their friendly atmosphere, clinical expertise, and high standards of care and is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre, and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.

Qualifications
  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate qualification in MRI is desirable

  • High levels of technical knowledge & skill
  • Ability to work accurately and compassionately
