Trafford General Hospital, part of Manchester Foundation Trust, is seeking to appoint a committed and compassionate MRI radiographer to join our imaging team.
We scan a range of complex MRI scanning procedures across our main site at Trafford General Hospital, which has a Siemens SOLA 1.5T, and our CDC site at Withington Community Hospital which also has a Siemens SOLA 1.5T.
To provide a high-quality MR service to all patients at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). The MR Department consists of a friendly and compassionate team with patient care at the forefront of imaging practice. We work a 7-day week, rotating across both sites on 11.5 working hours per shift with no night shifts and on-call.
We are a busy department within MFT and work within a bigger team of Radiographers and Radiology Assistants. The range of pediatric and adult MR examinations across all scanners is extensive. Both Withington and Trafford General Hospitals are busy departments, performing a wide range of examinations including MR Breast imaging at Trafford Hospital. You will be expected to work a 12-hour (11.5 working hours) shift across a 7-day working pattern.
