Team Leader - Motor Claims (Southampton) - Leading Legal Services Provider

Are you an experienced legal professional with strong leadership skills? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment? We are seeking a Team Leader to join a highly regarded legal services provider in Southampton, specialising in motor claims litigation.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will lead, inspire, and motivate a team to deliver outstanding service to clients while meeting business performance targets. You will oversee case management, provide technical supervision, and ensure compliance with best practices. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership career within a supportive and dynamic firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring high performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee the technical supervision of cases, acting as the expert lead.
  • Drive operational and financial performance, including revenue targets.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, service delivery standards, and quality control.
  • Support client relationship activities, including tenders and events.
  • Lead on operational projects, including IT changes and training.
  • Conduct file reviews and audits to ensure effective case management.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong litigation experience with expertise in handling a caseload of personal injury claims (OIC, Small Claims, MOJ, Fast Track, Intermediate Track, Multi Track up to 100,000).
  • Previous management or supervisory experience within a legal environment (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft packages.
  • A client-focused approach with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Qualified Solicitor or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
