MOT TESTER/LCV TECHNICIAN

Salary: £40k to £45k

Ideally working 6:00 am - 3:30 pm based on working 45 hours per week,
Monday to Friday.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester/LCV Technician at our Poole location. You will be a key member of our operation. The role involves carrying out MOT Testing and vehicle repairs in accordance with the manufacturer's procedures within the standard times set. You will liaise with the Workshop Controller and Service Team to ensure the best customer service for our clients. Duties will include:

1. MOT Testing: Carrying out Class 4, 5 and 7 MOT tests to the highest standards, strictly adhering to DVSA and government guidelines.
2. MOT preparation/presentation
3. Vehicle inspection
4. General servicing
5. Fault diagnosis
6. Repair of vehicle defects
7. Road test vehicles
8. Completion of all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will:

1. Hold a valid MOT Licence Class 4, 5 and 7
2. Be a Qualified Vehicle Technician: Level 3 Vehicle Technician (or equivalent) accreditation.
3. Have proven experience dealing with Commercial Vans of all makes and models
4. Possess a Full UK Driving Licence
5. Have a good attitude to work at all times
6. Be able to work independently and as part of a team
7. Demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering first-class customer service

Competitive salary. Day shift - flexibility is available for start and finish times to fit with family and work-life balance, based on working 45 hours per week. Overtime is always available but not guaranteed, with the potential for double pay during weekends. Additional benefits after 12 months of employment.
