Job Title: Mortgage Servicing Specialist
Location: Fleet Hybrid - Post Probation 2 days WFH
Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

About the Role of Mortgage Servicing Specialist:
Due to an increase in business volumes, they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join their Mortgage Servicing Team based in their Head Office. The successful candidate will be experienced in mortgage post-completions and will take pride in delivering a professional, efficient, and courteous service.
This is a varied role, dealing with all aspects of post-completion administration procedures relating to existing loans including queries both by telephone and in writing. You will handle all processes with accuracy and within agreed timescales in a compliant manner and in line with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities of Mortgage Servicing Specialist:

1. Work to agreed objectives, service standards and deliverables.
2. Ensure relevant documentation and information received is checked for adherence to policy and criteria.
3. Deal with queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally, delivering excellent customer service.
4. Provide a prompt reply to all written correspondence.
5. Develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
6. Adhere to internal/external compliance, credit review and audit requirements.
7. Apply all aspects of the desired consumer outcomes of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF).
8. Use initiative to resolve queries outside own area of expertise.
9. Train and mentor new team members.
10. Take responsibility for your own learning and development.
11. All other associated duties and responsibilities and carry out any tasks as required by management.

Experience required for Mortgage Servicing Specialist:

1. Proven experience in mortgage post completions/servicing.
2. Experience in arrears/collections is advantageous but not essential.
3. Proactive, flexible and willing to take on new aspects of the role as the Company evolves and also help out other teams.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. PC literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
6. Option to study CeMAP.
