Mortgage Processor – Your Mortgage People

£24,000 + bonus (rising to £28,000 after passing certain milestones)
Fareham, Hampshire
Full-time
Permanent

We’re looking for a Mortgage Processor to join our vibrant and fast-growing team based in Fareham, Hampshire.

The perfect candidate will have experience in processing mortgages and submitting full applications, as well as a strong product knowledge and (preferably) a background operating in a similar role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Online affordability assessments, AIPs and full mortgage applications
  • Online identification checks
  • Ensuring that all cases are progressing smoothly by regularly following up outstanding documents/information with all parties
  • Producing relevant documentation in line with regulatory requirements
  • Checking of client’s mortgage offer documents for accuracy
  • Engaging with customers in a friendly, compliant and professional manner

What we’re looking for:

  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work at a fast pace
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment
  • Product knowledge from key lenders across the market
  • Experience of both ‘prime’ and ‘sub-prime’ lenders
  • Able to work to deadlines as requested by clients
  • Ability to build strong relationships with BDMs and Lender Support staff
  • High levels of accuracy in work and excellent time management skills
  • Goal-focused and excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude

Step one: Does it feel right? Our in-house Talent Acquisition team will phone you for a chat. They’ll run through your employment history and what you’re looking for in a new role. This is an informal conversation so we can find out about each other.

Step two: You’ll have a face-to-face interview to go through your motivations. You’ll run through a few scenario-based questions, some interview questions and be given the opportunity to ask anything you’d like to learn about our company.

Our offices are based near Fareham, just off the M27 or a 10-minute walk from the nearest train station, commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, Cosham and surrounding areas. Where conveniently located to several local amenities, shops and the post office.
