Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be working on behalf of our client to find an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join their expanding team in Horsham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping clients navigate the mortgage process and secure the best financial solutions.

What's on Offer:

  • Salary: Up to £28,000 - £35,000 DOE + performance-based bonus (OTE £50,000+)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: Horsham (office-based)

About the Role:

As a Mortgage Advisor, you will provide expert advice to clients on a variety of mortgage products, guiding them through the entire process from initial consultation to application submission. You will assess their financial circumstances, recommend suitable mortgage options, and ensure they fully understand their choices. Additionally, you will offer advice on relevant insurance products, such as life cover, critical illness, and home insurance, to ensure clients have comprehensive financial protection. You will build strong client relationships, maintain industry knowledge, and meet sales targets through proactive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to assess their financial position and mortgage needs
  • Offer tailored guidance on suitable mortgage products and explain the available options
  • Provide advice on relevant insurance products to ensure clients have financial security
  • Assist clients with applications, gather necessary documentation, and liaise with lenders
  • Keep up to date with market trends, mortgage regulations, and financial products
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing ongoing support and advice
  • Work towards and exceed sales targets through lead generation and referrals
  • Ensure all advice and processes adhere to legal and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent is essential
  • Experience:
    • Experience in financial services or mortgage advising
    • Proven track record in sales and client relationship management
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of mortgage and insurance products, as well as financial regulations
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information
    • Customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases effectively
    • Proactive and results-driven mindset
