At Sodexo, you will be an essential member of the team working as a Morning Cleaner in Edinburgh Academy Senior School, 42 Henderson Row, Edinburgh, EH3 5BL. You will be responsible for the site's overall appearance on a daily basis, providing outstanding cleaning services in order to keep the surroundings safe and hygienic for everyone. What you’ll do:

• Pay close attention to the details and complete the cleaning tasks on your scheduled list.
• It is essential to have daily communication with the on-site janitors (client).
• Candidates must have relevant experience and be comfortable working independently ie lone working.
• Make sure the workplace's common areas, kitchens, and restrooms are spotless.
• Restock essentials and supplies such as hand gels and toilet paper.
• Be a champion of health and safety practices.

What you bring:

• A certain amount of responsibility is necessary for the position.
• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work quickly and adapt when circumstances change.
• Be a team player and follow instruction.

Morning Cleaner

• £12.60 to £13.00 per hour
• 25 hours per week
• Working pattern: Monday - Friday 7am to 12noon (weekend working is a requirement, subject to business needs).
