Are you passionate about shaping the future of residential developments? We’re looking for an experienced Development Project Monitor to join a dynamic team based in London. About the Role

As a Development Project Monitor, you will oversee and report on the full lifecycle of development projects. This includes pre-acquisition due diligence, agreement negotiations, construction progress, and final delivery. You'll liaise with key stakeholders, track budgets, manage risks, and ensure compliance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Lead due diligence processes and monitor the entire development cycle, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for joint venture partners, housebuilders, and financial institutions, providing regular updates.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with approvals.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction meets high standards and specific handover requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in project monitoring, management, or consultancy, especially in residential developments.
  • Demonstrated experience working on greenfield and brownfield housing developments within the UK.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning laws, building regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Desirable: Professional certifications (RICS, CIOB, APM) and familiarity with modern construction techniques and tools like Tableau.
