Job Introduction
The Modern Slavery and Ethical Trading Senior Manager, Sustainability is responsible for Ethical Trade controls across the BBC. Managing and overseeing our end-to-end ethical trade processes and policies across our organisation and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
We are looking for someone to drive improvements aligned to the BBC risk profile and framework, implementing controls to protect the BBC brand, and ensuring we are always doing the right thing for our audiences. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in the UK and internationally and maturing levels of controls to reduce risk.
The Team:
This role is embedded in the Group Sustainability team which is responsible for setting out Group strategy and policy for sustainability on behalf of BBC Commercial and Public Service globally. The role interacts directly with the procurement team and internal partner functions (including but not limited to BBC Studios, QRA and Legal), external bodies and suppliers.

Location: Office base is London. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.
Salary: anticipated range £60,000 - £65,000pa plus London Weighting (£5,319pa), depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
