We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a key client of ours in Farnborough. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile defence projects, ensuring the security and resilience of mission-critical systems.

Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must be a Sole British National with an active MOD DV Clearance to be eligible.

In this role, you will be responsible for the support of the development and transition of a new programme and lead the implementation/security assurance.

You will be required to develop high- and low-level architecture designs for systems intended for secure environments whilst ensuring the solution security design meets the customer functional and non-functional requirements.

Essential Requirements:

1. CISSP certification (or equivalent).
2. Strong experience in cybersecurity architecture within MOD/government environments.
3. Expertise in cyber risk management, security frameworks, and accreditation.
4. Familiarity with firewalls, authentication protocols (SAML, PKI, LDAP), SIEM systems.
5. Ability to develop security assurance documentation (e.g., SyOPS, ISMS, Security Management Plans).
6. Understanding of MOD ISN 23/09 Secure by Design principles.
7. Experience with cloud security models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and virtualization.
8. Experience in Agile, DevOps, or SAFe environments.
