Mobile Service Engineer (Trainee Or Experienced)

An exciting opportunity for a number of Mobile Service Engineers has arisen to join a dynamic forward-thinking company based in Northamptonshire, specialising in assembly, maintenance, and repair operations of access equipment on various Industrial sites across the UK.

Role: You will be required to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and breakdown requests for service calls and, when required, work away from home. You will be able to work both on your own and as part of a team and will want to learn and grow in a dynamic and successful company.

Person: Successful candidates will have the ability to work safely at height, to use hand and heavy-duty power tools in a safe and assured manner, have the confidence to communicate with site contractors, and complete the appropriate paperwork. Experience/certification in any form of Mechanical & Electrical assembly would be an advantage, but full product training will be provided.

A valid driving licence is essential with a willingness to travel UK wide including London. The ability to work long hours and to stay away from home to meet business needs is important for this role to be a success. A valid CSCS card would also be desirable, but not essential as training can be provided to obtain a CSCS card on commencement of employment.

Salary: Competitive starting salary of up to £70K (includes travel and overtime) for those candidates with proven assembly experience and/or access equipment experience, qualifications, and experience. Competitive starting salary of £40K (includes travel and overtime) for trainees.

Working Hours: Minimum working hours of 40 hours per week plus paid travel time. Overtime is paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday, double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
