Mobile Service Engineer - Commercial Gas

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week, 8 am - 4:30 pm)
Coverage Area: North East Region

Mobile Service Engineer

to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional maintenance, repairs, and installation services across a variety of commercial properties.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Conducting planned maintenance (PPM) visits and responding to breakdowns and repairs.
  2. Handling small installation or refurbishment projects.
  3. Completing site surveys and assisting with tender preparation.
  4. Participating in an on-call rota system.
  5. Providing on-site advice and clear explanations to clients and guidance to colleagues.
  6. Ensuring statutory compliance tasks such as emergency lighting checks and tap temperature readings.

Your Experience:
  1. Strong field-based experience in fault finding, repairs, and PPM on boilers, heating systems, and mechanical/plumbing equipment.
  2. Knowledge of electrical systems and plant controls.
  3. Experience working in occupied premises, with a customer-focused approach.
  4. Installation experience on commercial heating systems is desirable.
