Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Mobile Plant Operator for one of our clients in the Ardley area.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in the operation of mobile plant machinery. This role is perfect for someone who has a keen eye for Health and Safety and can work well within a team.

They use 17 Tonne 360 excavators, loading shovels, overhead / gantry cranes, and forklift trucks on site, so experience operating this type of machinery is essential. However, tickets and licences are desirable not essential.

Duties include, but aren't limited to:

1. Operation of gantry cranes, overhead cranes, forklift trucks and other machinery when required
2. Weighbridge Operation
3. Plant checks
4. Tipping Hall Management

About you:

1. Experience operating mobile plant machinery
2. Experience within a similar position, in any suitable industry (construction or engineering ideally)
3. Experience of safe systems of work, permits for work and risk assessments is essential
4. Appropriate tickets / licences are desirable but not essential

Package:

1. £38,491 + 10% bonus
2. Monday to Friday (Week 1: 6am-3:00pm, Week 2: 10:30am-7:00pm)
3. 1 Saturday shift every 7 weeks (6:30am - 3:00pm)
4. 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
