NEOS Engineering are currently working with one of the UK's largest plant manufacturers who are looking for a Plant fitter. They specialize in heavy plant equipment all across the world and are looking for a mobile plant fitter based in Sunderland! This is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant fitter who has experience working on construction machinery but wants more overtime and responsibility.

The ideal Plant fitter is a candidate who has their NVQ or equivalent in plant mechanics to carry out service, maintenance and repair of all types of construction plant machinery. The candidate will be confident working alone and be able to think on their feet!

The day to day role of the Mobile Plant fitter is travelling across the North East for your employer attending machines that they have out on hire. The day to day role can vary from routine services to breakdowns; your role is to get the customer's machine back up and running as quickly as possible!

The Role:

1. Service, Maintenance & Repair of Heavy Plant Machinery at customer sites
2. Covering a large patch in the North East
3. Mechanical & Electrical repairs - diesel engines, hydraulic systems, diagnostics.

1. Fully qualified in plant mechanics and maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
2. Eager to receive overtime & progression
3. Full Driving License
