An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based across London.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to be based in Central London carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a commercial contract. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of servicing, repairing, and installing heating systems and plumbing works at various commercial contracts in the Central London area.

This position would be ideal for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £40,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Package Details & Hours of Work

1. Basic Salary of up to £40,000
2. Monday - Friday
3. Company Vehicle
4. Fuel Card
5. Full company uniform
6. Competitive Pension Package
7. On call - 1 in 12 (£150 stand by money)
8. 8am - 5pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Monitor mechanical plant
2. Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
3. Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
4. BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
5. Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
6. Maintain and update Logbooks
7. Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
8. Changing taps/washers
9. Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.
10. Managing priorities within contract constraints.
11. Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals.
12. Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
13. Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.

Requirements

1. Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 (recognised trade qualification).
2. Qualified to work with Central heating, Water heaters, pipe work, Unvented hot water, HVAC systems
3. Electrical Knowledge
4. Full clean driving license
