Maintenance Electrician - Specialist Rail / Depot Systems

UK-Wide Travel | £42,000 + Van + Overtime + Benefits
Sector: Rail / Depot Maintenance | Permanent Role

We're working with a leading contractor (Turnover c£30m) delivering high-quality installation and maintenance services across the UK, Middle East, and North America. With specialist expertise in rail depot systems and facilities, this is your chance to be part of a secure, expanding sector that's not tied to the wider economy.

The Role:

As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance of specialist electrical services in train depots nationwide. This includes systems such as:

  1. Power supplies
  2. Motors and pumps
  3. Control panels

You may also work on more traditional building services within depot facilities.

What's in it for you:
  1. £42,000 base salary (includes paid travel time & lunch break)
  2. Company van (business use only)
  3. Overtime available at:
    1. £24.22/hr Saturdays (1.5x)
    2. £32.30/hr Sundays
  4. 25 days holiday
  5. 3%/5% pension contribution

About You:

We're looking for a fully qualified electrician with:
  1. City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection)
  2. Experience with maintenance of electrical systems (rail experience is a bonus but not essential)
  3. Flexibility to travel UK-wide
