Maintenance Electrician - Specialist Rail / Depot Systems
UK-Wide Travel | £42,000 + Van + Overtime + Benefits

We're working with a leading contractor (Turnover c£30m) delivering high-quality installation and maintenance services across the UK, Middle East, and North America. With specialist expertise in rail depot systems and facilities, this is your chance to be part of a secure, expanding sector that's not tied to the wider economy.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance of specialist electrical services in train depots nationwide. This includes systems such as:
- Power supplies
- Motors and pumps
- Control panels
You may also work on more traditional building services within depot facilities.
What's in it for you:
- £42,000 base salary (includes paid travel time & lunch break)
- Company van (business use only)
- Overtime available at:
- £24.22/hr Saturdays (1.5x)
- £32.30/hr Sundays
- 25 days holiday
- 3%/5% pension contribution
About You:
We're looking for a fully qualified electrician with:
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection)
- Experience with maintenance of electrical systems (rail experience is a bonus but not essential)
- Flexibility to travel UK-wide
