Job Description:

This is a mostly remote position, requiring in-office presence only one day a week when needed. We are looking for a candidate with skills in mobile app development, Flutter frameworks, mobile architecture, iOS, and some team management.

This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile app development, team leadership, and platform management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Flutter Development Expertise: Lead the architectural design and implementation of Flutter applications. Ensure code quality, reusability, and maintainability. Champion the use of Flutter within the team, promoting best practices and adopting new features and improvements.
2. Mobile Development Leadership: Oversee the mobile development team in designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications. Ensure that applications are scalable, performant, and provide an excellent user experience.
3. Platform Management: Oversee the deployment and management of mobile applications on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Ensure compliance with app store guidelines, policies, and best practices.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for mobile development inquiries, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
5. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and support a team of mobile developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
6. Technical Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of Google Android and Apple iOS operating systems, including their architecture, APIs, and development tools, to support Flutter integration and platform-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

- Strong and demonstrable experience in mobile app development, particularly in cross-platform development using Flutter.

- Extensive experience building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, with in-depth knowledge of Flutter widgets, state management techniques, and best practices for scalable and maintainable applications.

- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns, along with proven experience with the Google Play Store and Apple App Store submission processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capability to identify, nurture, and scale new opportunities.
