Mobile HVAC Engineers

Your new company
Our client is a large, leading FM service provider who operates across the UK and globally. Due to a new contract win, they are hiring a number of engineering roles for their delivery team. Their end client is a large public sector organisation with a significant portfolio of commercial and residential properties. You will be working on a van mobile basis, with a company van provided, and working hours are Monday - Friday 8 - 5.

Your new role

As a Mobile Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer, you will work on a van mobile basis and carry out a range of mechanical maintenance to relevant plant and equipment in a range of commercial properties for a large public sector portfolio. Key duties will include:

1. Identify and manage the risks to the end client through equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant & equipment, managing environmental conditions through BMS system.
2. Fault-finding on all types of HVAC plant and equipment.
3. Reactive and PPM maintenance tasks.
4. Working with refrigerant and handling F-gas.
5. Provide technical expertise to the maintenance team where possible.
6. Supervision and management of subcontractors.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience in an HVAC and maintenance engineering role within commercial properties. You will also require:

1. F-gas safe handling and use of refrigerants.
2. Mechanical qualifications.
3. Full UK driving license.
4. Public sector estate experience (desirable).
5. Experience and willingness to operate in a multi-skilled capacity where possible.
