Job Purpose:

We are looking for skilled Air Conditioning/Chiller Engineers to provide operational support to the North West & North East.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To proactively deliver the engineering tasks received, including maintenance and service visits to a variety of equipment, including Splits, VRF systems, CRAC units, and associated controls.
2. Carrying out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours.
3. Participating in Out of Hours work and Standby Rota.
4. Observing internal and client support functions to meet the requirements and objectives of our customers and our business.
5. Ensuring that the engineering tasks received are carried out professionally.
6. Responsible for the quality of each individual engineering task received in support of contract responsibilities, ensuring all practices and support participants conform to agreed standards and processes.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

1. Demonstrated appropriate technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skills required, e.g., 2079 Refrigerant handling.
2. Successfully completed a recognised training course in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or provides evidence of equivalent works.
3. A good base knowledge and experience of maintenance & service duties on VRF systems as well as medium to large tonnage chillers.
4. Proven knowledge of CRAC Units, Air Conditioning Splits & Cassettes, VRV/VRF systems from all major manufacturers.
5. Knowledge of refrigeration scroll and screw compressors, large central plant chilled water systems from brands such as Carrier, York, McQuay, Climaveneta, Daikin, Trane, J&E Hall, GEA, etc., would also be advantageous but not essential.
6. Ability to work in a team or alone depending on the task.
