Job description

Role: Mobile Gas Supervisor

Location: London - Mobile

Role Summary:


We are looking for a reliable and experienced Gas engineer to carry out service maintenance works on high-end commercial sites across Greater London. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our clients working on a varied selection of Gas systems.

You will be the Gas Supervisor for the area so your week will be split between these duties and working on the tools.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Attend and complete PPMs & Reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns
  • Troubleshooting/ Fault finding on all Gas
  • To produce quotations for works /remedials following service visits
  • To be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary
  • Will be mobile role across Greater London
  • Complete all paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises
  • To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out Rota
  • Role includes Van, Uniform PDA and Mobile Phone

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1,TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT and applicable domestic qualifications
  • Excellent gas knowledge of current gas regulations.
  • Knowledge of a variety of Commercial/Domestic appliances and installations.
  • Possess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge, both domestic and commercial of most major manufactures i.e. Valliant Powermatic, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way and Worcester etc.
  • Good all-round knowledge of heating systems with controls/BMS knowledge desirable.
  • Good plumbing skills
  • Good interpersonal & communicating skills, flexible approach to work/Clients’ requirements. Be prepared to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the callout rota. Good organisational skills and have a positive attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • DBS Check
