Mobile Funeral Arranger - 12 Month Fixed Term Contact

£24,609 pro rata (£12.62 per hour) plus benefits

Full/Part time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Mobile role covering approx. 8 funeral homes in Glasgow

What you’ll do

1. As a mobile funeral arranger, you’ll support clients by organising family visits and answering guest questions.
2. Make sure all regulated work, like selling and advising on our funeral plans, is referred to a ‘certified colleague’.
3. Travel to meet clients and build relationships across your community.
4. Support with manual handling of coffins and the deceased.

This role would suit people who have

1. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
2. A passion for delivering great service and building relationships plus would feel comfortable working on their own; both travelling to client meetings, and holding fort within branches where necessary.
3. Excellent communication and admin skills plus strong attention to detail to make sure regulatory policies and processes are always adhered to.
4. High levels of empathy, discretion and care.

As part of your application you’ll need to complete an online assessment. It will take you around 20 minutes to complete this test.
