Mobile Fabric Engineer / Carpenter - FM Service Provider - Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Sussex - up to £40,000 + Package


Are you a Mobile Fabric Engineer looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work for a leading Facilities Maintenance provider? An exciting opportunity to join an established Building Services company based across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Sussex.


CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across commercial offices and high-end residential buildings across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Sussex. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance ideally from a Carpentry / Fire Door background.


This position would be ideal for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen to join an expanding company that can offer progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000 (DOE) with a potential route into further career progression.


Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  2. Painting and Decorating
  3. Carpentry
  4. Fire Door Maintenance / Hanging Doors / Installing Fire Doors
  5. Assist with office moves (minor office churn) including furniture moves
  6. To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paint work, tiling, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
  7. To undertake some plumbing activities including but not limited to clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems etc.
  8. Liaising with the contract management team
  9. Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
  10. Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs
  11. Carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as deemed appropriate to the continuing maintenance function on the client portfolio
  12. Offer technical support and backup as required
  13. Ensure all personnel and contractors that may be working in hazardous areas take all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment
  14. Use all relevant tools and equipment within the safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
  15. To ensure the client receives the highest level of service to their assets by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, minor improvements
  16. Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
  17. Assist Multi-Skilled Engineers where required

Hours of Work & Package Information
  1. Basic Salary of up to £40,000
  2. Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm
  3. 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  4. Company Van & Fuel Card
  5. Tablet & Work Phone Provided
  6. Full company uniform

Requirements
  1. Ideally you will be a qualified - Carpenter
  2. A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  3. Multi-skilled / Multi-Trade
  4. Good communication skills
