Job Description: Mobile Multiskilled Engineer

Location: Mobile, covering West London

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across various client sites within West London. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will be 18th Edition qualified and possess a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and building fabric.
  2. Diagnose and rectify faults on a variety of equipment and systems.
  3. Carry out electrical installations, testing, and inspections in accordance with the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
  4. Respond to emergency callouts and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  5. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including job sheets and test certificates.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  8. Manage and maintain company vehicle and tools.
  9. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  10. Utilize and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  11. Apply knowledge of engineering fundamentals to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
  2. Completion of a recognized engineering fundamentals course or equivalent experience.
  3. Proven experience in a multiskilled maintenance role.
  4. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  5. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Full UK driving license (essential).
  9. Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
  10. Experience with building management systems (BMS) is desirable.
  11. Experience with HVAC systems is desirable.
