Mobile Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge?

I am working with a facilities management company who are looking to add a Mobile Electrical Engineer to their team. The company specialise in PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings. This role is a field-based position and will be covering the Edinburgh, Galashiels, Perth, Dundee, and Kirkcaldy areas.

About the role of Mobile Electrical Engineer:

My client works mainly on commercial buildings such as high street retailers and banks. You will be tasked with attending around 4 sites a day to carry out repairs or maintenance within the buildings which will include PPM and reactive work.

Responsibilities for Mobile Electrical Engineer:

1. Upgrading and installing systems, along with carrying out maintenance works, inspections, and fault finding.
2. Completing necessary paperwork and submitting within a set time scale.
3. Completing certification and identifying any remedial work that needs to be completed.
4. Using hand-held technology effectively.

Requirements of a Mobile Electrical Engineer:

1. NVQ Level 2 (ideally 3) or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
2. Experience as a mobile electrical engineer or experience as a domestic electrical engineer and willingness to be up-skilled.
3. Driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
4. Willingness to work on a call-out rota providing out-of-hours full cover to clients.
5. Knowledge of health and safety and safe working practices.

What we offer for a Mobile Electrical Engineer:

1. Salary between £26,352 and £41,400 depending on experience.
