Up to £50,000 + Van (Personal Use), Fuel Card + 25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + 5% Pension + Benefits

A leading player in the industry is currently looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team, covering a large patch of commercial properties based across Oxford and Northampton.

The Role

As the Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the following:

1. Covering a large patch in the Southwest, you’ll provide maintenance in plantrooms and within commercial properties, providing ppm and reactive maintenance.
2. Working on a Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm, 1-hour lunch (40hrs) work week.
3. Service, maintenance, fault finding & repair on a range of commercial/industrial gas and mechanical building services equipment.
4. General maintenance duties as and when required – AHU’s, FCU’s, Gas Tighteners, Boosters, Boilers, Filters, etc.
5. There is a 1 in 4 callout rota which is shared within the team of 4, £125 standby, with 1.5x and 2x rates.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role of Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll bring the following skills and experience to the role:

1. You will hold current Commercial Gas tickets and ideally a Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating.
2. At least 4+ years’ experience in commercial facilities maintenance / building service role is essential.
3. You’ll need to hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points.
4. Strong communication skills to be able to work closely within a team of 4.
5. Can do attitude, willing to be flexible and support the team and contract where needed.
