Working hours: Full time, 37.5 Hours Per Week, Monday - Saturday.
As part of Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will work from 08:00am to 14:30pm Monday - Friday and 08:00am to 13:00pm Saturday. You will either be part of a team or the only cleaner on site, ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.
About the Role:
As a mobile commercial cleaning operative, you will be responsible for several locations in the MK postcode area covering annual leave, absences, etc. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, and dusting, sanitising surfaces safely and professionally to a high standard.
We require someone who can operate a variety of cleaning equipment. However, full training will be provided. This role will be physically challenging and involves manual handling activities.
Driving Licence: Given the nature of the role and the distance between locations, you will need a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. We provide a work vehicle (van) and pay for fuel expenses between sites.
About You: Previous cleaning experience is desired but not essential. Naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills, you’ll be able to communicate with customers and managers whilst complying with Health & Safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail. You’ll be able to work on your own initiative, organising your own time, as you’ll be managed remotely.
